Step 1) Have an idea

You can’t write a book without an idea. But sometimes, coming up with a good one can feel like the hardest part. If you’re struggling to come up with an idea for your book, try thinking about the following: 

-What are you passionate about? 

-What do you know a lot about? 

-What would you like to learn more about? 

-What problem could you provide a solution for? 

-Who is your target audience? -What genre of book are you writing? 

-Do you want it to be nonfiction or fiction?

-Do you want it to be inspirational or educational?


Step 2) Start writing consistently

If you want to write a book, the best way to start is by writing consistently. Set aside some time each day or each week to write, and make sure you stick to your schedule. It doesn’t matter how much you write, as long as you keep writing. You don't have to write for hours at a time.
